The United Reformed Church in Lincoln

We are a gathered Church with many members travelling into the historic city of Lincoln from the surrounding villages. The Church building is situated on Garmston Street at the top of the High Street. We are one of two United Reformed Churches in the city. The other being Ermine URC in the north of the city. There is also a Local Ecumenical Project in Brant Road, St. Columba's, into which there is mutual input. The worship area of the building is upstairs. For those who prefer not to climb stairs we have lift and also a stairlift. The organ has been replaced with a digital console; the loudspeakers are hidden behind the old organ pipes, the effect is very realistic. A grand piano is also available and is used on a regular basis thus giving variety to the music used in our worship. |
